General Purpose Glove

High performance

The mechflex range of gloves are designed for general work in the fire industry. High performance, breathable, washable and durable line of gloves that are comfortable and lightweight.

Abrasive resistant materials

Mechflex series gloves are designed using our 100 years of glove manufacturing experience. Abrasive resistant materials have been strategically placed to maximize hand protection, and supply superior grip and dexterity. Quality craftsmanship and ergonomical design provide the unprecedented comfort during extended wear. Mechflex is not NFPA approved.

7888 HSG Structural firefighting glove

  • NFPA certified
  • Moisture barrier

Model 7888 utilizes a double chromium-tanned suede thermo leather, which meets the higher thermal and durability requirements of NFPA 1971.

Adjustable polyurethane moisture barrier

Polyurethane offers a cost-effective moisture barrier that meets NFPA 1971 requirements, and protects against steam burns and bloodborne pathogens.

Self-extinguishing fleece (SEF) lining

Self-extinguishing fabric (SEF) fleece linings are selected in the proper weight and thickness to offer flexibility, comfort and excellent insulation.

Pull tab

Reinforcing leather pull tabs are sewn onto the palm side of the glove to protect the wristlet from distortion while donning and doffing.
